The Impossible Princess album by Kylie Minogue has been holding my life together ever since it was released.
It still inspires me to this day, pure perfection on every level:
visual, musical (Mr Steve Anderson), the arrangements, the depth, the personal touch, the live energy…
I created this image using the same technique originally used back in 1997 by Stephane Sednaoui.
The photo is part of a project that, I hope one day will see the light of day…
I’d love to emphasize that this is my humble tribute, the sign of the biggest respect I have for the artists Kylie and Stephane, not a copy.
I still remember so vividly the first time I saw that album cover for IP, I was 9yo, I knew right then that I wanted to be a photographer, and that I wanted to create visuals like this one.
